Since 2008, CharityTeams has assisted charities with their athletic fundraising opportunities such as the Boston Marathon. Over these years, approximately 450 runners have raised funds of over $2,700,000 and have been completely successful in finishing the Boston Marathon™ under the motivation and guidance of founder, Susan Hurley and her CharityTeams management.
Professional athletic trainers, physical therapists, podiatrists, nutritionists, coaches and expert guest speakers are all part of the CharityTeams experience! From beginner marathon runner to experienced marathon runner everyone loves to run with CharityTeams.
Tuesday night “Going to Hell” workouts on the rolling hills of Newton, MA have become famous amongst the runners in preparation for the Boston Marathon. In addition, CharityTeams offers weekly group long runs on Saturday mornings to stay motivated and prepared for your goal. Monthly meetings with guest speakers such as Boston Marathon and New York City Marathon winner Bill Rodgers and world renowned race director and business owner Dave McGillivray of DMSE, Inc. are just some of the perks of being on a CharityTeam. Fundraising support is also a part of each team programs – teaching people how to fundraise and network to insure maximum fundraising success.
