Since 2008, CharityTeams has assisted charities with their athletic fundraising opportunities such as the Boston Marathon. Over these years, our enthusiastic runners have raised funds of over $20,000,000. and have been successful in finishing the Boston Marathon™ and many other races. Being on a team of runners increases your chance for marathon success. Team camaraderie and communication are instilled throughout the marathon training period, building lasting friendships and invigorating bonds between athletes and their charities. Check out all the services we provide below to ensure your team has an unforgettable race experience.

The Superhero 17, The Hop 21 and The Boston Team Party are just a few of the fun events you will get invited to experience as a CharityTeams runner.

Also, Monthly meetings with guest speakers such as Boston Marathon and New York City Marathon winner Bill Rodgers. Olympian and New York City and Boston Champion, Meb Keflezighi and world renowned race director and business owner Dave McGillivray of DMSE, Inc. are just some of the perks of being on a CharityTeam.

CharityTeams makes running fun and we try to engage all of our runners in the social side of running.

Fundraising support is also a part of each team programs – teaching people how to fundraise creatively and also how to use social networking to insure maximum fundraising success.

Peer to Peer fundraising strategies are taught to all runners and each runner is set up with a personalized fundraising platform through their non profit.

A clear understanding of the non profit is also something that is instilled in each runner. The goal is to not only exceed your fundraising but engage you in the cause. CharityTeams helps create dedicated ambassadors and new donors for charities.

CharityTeams works with many of the online donation platforms including Crowdrise and FirstGiving.

We also teach runners how to best host their fundraising events and engage as many people in the donation process.

Professional athletic trainers, physical therapists, podiatrists, nutritionists, coaches and expert guest speakers are all part of the CharityTeams experience!

Tuesday night “to hell and back"  workouts on the rolling hills of Newton, MA have become famous amongst the local runners in preparation for the Boston Marathon. In addition, CharityTeams offers weekly group long runs on Saturday mornings to stay motivated and prepared for your goal.

We also host the CharityTeams Superhero 17 Training Run and the CharityTeams HOP21 Training run, where runners dress in costumes and train for the Boston Marathon.

Training advice is offered to insure that runners of all abilities are prepared for their race. Emphasis on injury prevention and total race preparation is focused on through out the entire experience. Personal communication and attention to each runner's goals is the primary objective.
